Two-Tone Trauma

I never really understood the notion of having a two-tone paint job on a car. While it can work on occassion, ultimately it smacks of indecisiveness — why have a blue car or a silver car, when you can have both?

Of course, if the car below was blue and silver, or anything even remotely tasteful, it wouldn't be featured here. What makes this car so awful isn't the lime low body (and hood), as bad as that is. And it isn't the flat black rust paint on the upper body, although that alone is bad enough to qualify for ridicule. And it's not even the mismatched wheels. It's the simple fact that someone, somewhere, for some unknown reason, wanted this car to look like this. Repulsive thought the colour scheme may be, the lines are clean and crisp, meaning that care and attention was put into making this poor car look this bad.
