Children love Winnie the Pooh. I did when I was a child, although now I'm not sure what exactly is so loveable about a bear with an ill-fitting shirt who persistently misspells the word honey. Like many well loved characters, Winnie is well merchandised. My son has all manner of Pooh-related items, many of them gifts from friends and family. One of these is the diaper shirt (aka a onesie) pictured below.
It's a really nice onesie, well made, 100% cotton, and you probably can't tell from the picture, but Winnie is actually embossed on it, not screen printed. It's still a little too big for him, but it will be very cute when he fits into it properly. At least, it's cute if you don't study the picture too carefully. Take a look at the picture and see if you can find seven things wrong with it.

- What is Pooh doing with a pickaxe? It's not exactly something a creature who lacks opposable thumbs, nay, lacks digits altogether, should attempt to wield.
- No, seriously, what is Pooh doing with that pickaxe? Presumably he is going to do some digging. I associate pickaxes with digging for buried treasure, so perhaps Pooh has ditched gluttony and/or sloth in favour of avarice?
- Okay, what's with Pooh's hat? One would assume that the headwear of choice for traipsing through the jungle with a pickaxe is a pith helmet, but Pooh has opted for the classic fedora. Perhaps he's going for the Humphrey Bogart look.
- What's with that dinosaur? Hey, for all I know Pooh isn't treasure hunting, but rather he's out hunting for dinosaurs. That pickaxe does look sharp.
- Is that supposed to be a T. Rex? The useless looking foreleg suggests it, but that's one lame looking Tyrannosaurus. The average professional hockey player has more teeth, and it looks way too happy to be remotely threatening.
- Why is it that colour? That colour, to the best of my knowledge, is taupe (i.e. somewhere between brown and grey). Look for Terry the Taupe T. Rex coming to the Disney Channel this fall.
- Speaking of colour, what's with the green and blue on Pooh. Hey, this thing is enough of a trainwreck already, why should it make sense chromatically?
