Good writers borrow, great writers steal (amusingly, that
quote has been attributed to Hemingway, T.S. Eliot, Asimov, and others).
Tonight I'm going to do the latter, and from a friend's
page nonetheless. Of course, this idea isn't original to him, either,
so it's not really stealing at all. Allow me to present my week by the
        numbers.
7000: The number of dollars I spent buying a car.
96: Model year of said car.
691: Dollars paid to insure car for one year (less than I expected).
        12: Hours worked on Wednesday.
0: Nights I've been asleep before 4 am.
34: Days I had to wait to have my management test graded.
78: Mark on my management test.
80: Mark needed to pass said management test.
0: People who passed this test from my group.
67: Second highest score on this test.
2: Times written this test so far.
        7: Days until I move.
0: Hours spent packing so far.
1: Empty boxes secured thus far.
6: VHS tapes sitting on top of my DVD shelf waiting to be put away.
1: Utterly huge grapefruit I've eaten tonight.
5: Hours until I have to get up.
5.87: Price of cheese burger combo that I'm going to have for lunch on
        "Big Burger Friday."
3: Number of submarine sandwiches eaten since Monday
        15: Minutes until I'm hopefully asleep. |
